The Mummy is getting the reunion fans have been waiting for!
Rachel Weisz is officially returning as Evelyn Carnahan in The Mummy 4, reuniting with Brendan Fraser for another adventure.
For fans who grew up with the original movies, seeing Evelyn and Rick O’Connell back together is a pretty big deal. Now the question is: what kind of trouble are they getting themselves into this time?
The adventure isn’t over yet.
When I heard this, I was super excited. Brendan Fraser has played Rick O’Connell for three parts in this franchise, and honestly, I don’t see anyone else doing justice to this role. I was a little disappointed when another actress played the role of Evelyn Carnahan in the third installment; I just couldn’t feel their on-screen chemistry as a couple. I’m glad they are having her back on screen for the fourth installment.
The Mummy reunion is like a dream come true. Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz back together is a testament that it will be so interesting and after we have waited for years, we are not expecting anything less.
