Simon Cowell: The Next Act is a new Netflix series that follows Simon Cowell as he sets out to find the next big boy band, and it’s a surprisingly engaging watch. I really enjoyed the show and ended up finishing it over two nights—it’s very bingeable and keeps you interested from start to finish.
What makes the series stand out is how hands-on Simon is throughout the process. While he does receive some help from friends along the way, the responsibility of selecting the right group ultimately rests on his shoulders. Seeing him take on most of the workload himself was refreshing and gave the show a more personal feel.
It was also fascinating to get a glimpse into Simon’s home—it’s absolutely massive and adds another layer of intrigue to the series. Those behind-the-scenes moments help humanise him and make the journey feel more authentic.
I can’t wait to see what the newly formed boy band does next, and I’m really hoping they release music in the coming months. Overall, Simon Cowell: The Next Act is an enjoyable and insightful look at the pressure, passion, and decision-making behind creating a pop group from scratch.

I have always known him as a no nonsense kinda guy who knows what he wants and isn’t scared to hurt or offend anyone with his opinion. I think this is going to be a good show though.
I am a fan of Simon. I like this guy, though he is somewhat strict in judging, but he is fair in his judgment. I never missed watching his shows on YouTube or Facebook.
I’m a fan of Simon. I like this guy firm though sometimes hard to get. He has an appealing look
😍.
This Netflix show starts off feeling like a documentary, and end up looking.like a recreate of The X-Factor.
‘Simon Cowell: The Next Act’ Netflix · Simon Cowell: The Next Act puts the veteran host and music judge in an amazin.
Sounds like a really engaging show.. The behind-the-scenes look at his home and the process adds so much depth. I’ll definitely check it out.. sounds like perfect binge material.
Simon is an interesting guy when it comes to acting. So, I see a show that is going to be quite interesting with lots of suspense that will keep viewers engaged till the end.
I noticed Simon Cowell never really seems to change in how he creates new bands, and this one shows really well.
They have already given themselves a bad reputation since they dissed BTS before they had even debuted and released a song, so it is not looking good for them at the moment.
Simon again? The man never rests. It reminds me of how talent shows just keep recycling with new names. Still, I won’t lie, he has an eye for talent. If this one focuses more on mentoring than drama, it could work. But there should be less fake backstories. The talent should speak this time.
I’m tired of talent shows honestly. Same script every year. You can see in auditions where judges act shocked at basic singing. Simon knows the formula though. If he switches things up, maybe it might hit us differently, if not, it’ll just be a background noise.
