My quick thoughts...
Stunning New Zealand shines on screen.
I absolutely loved this movie! I even spotted (and heard!) a few fellow Kiwis in the cast—so cool!
I loved that most of the film was made right here in New Zealand. We’ve got such a stunning country for filmmaking—proud to see it shine on the big screen!

100% agree. Was such an awesome film with some familiar spots. Jack Black once again nails his character. Seen it now 3 times it’s that great!
Very interesting review 🙂
I really enjoyed reading this review. That was such a great movie as well.
I haven’t taken out time to watch Minecraft but the adaptation appears to be exciting, particularly, with the New Zealand scenes in the movie. The cast appears to be quite impressive too.
Jason Momoa and Jack Black in a Minecraft movie that’s such a wild combo but I bet it works. New Zealand always looks incredible on screen so smart choice filming there.
The directors of the movie made a smart decision by deciding to shoot the movie in New Zealand. The locations for the scenes were perfect and that’s part of what got me interested in the movie.
I haven’t watched it but I think it would be so cool especially with Jason Momoa and Jack Black in the movie. It will be fun to see how they will make crafting in the game come to life. I can’t wait to see it though.
I honestly feel as though I may be the only person who has not yet seen this movie, and that is not like me at all.
Jack Black, from what I have seen, nailed his part again, and I expected no less.
Really should just sit and watch it!
I haven’t seen it and I don’t think I will. I haven’t seen a single review anywhere that speaks well of this movie; from what I’ve seen, it’s worse than you’d think, so I don’t think I’ll even waste a minute of my life watching it.
I have heard so much about Minecraft the game but i have never actually thought about playing it until I watched this movie. I really think it was a decent movie.
I truly love this movie; it is so thrilling. This movie is so famous in my country; it was advertised on billboards, but I only watched it via YouTube. I like the falling and rising actions, very thrilling.
This is a fun family action comedy. It is acubist eye candy and colourful adventure for children, and it’ isn’t bad for some adults, and everyone.though. A Minecraft Movie’ is a mixed bag. Alot of people love its fun, goofy, and
visually engaging nature,
A Minecraft movie is indeed awesome and overwhelming. My nieces and nephews also watch this movie with me. They like the funny and somewhat scary scenes. I give a thump up to this movie.
This one scares me a little. Minecraft is just a vibe, not a story. That film made me remember the game movies that miss the point. They capture the creativity and freedom, that’s why it’s all fun and they didn’t force it at all.
