The director of 2022 Predator film Prey returns for this follow-up starring Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi (The Panthers). Set in the future on a remote planet, a young Predator (Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.

I like that twist. The idea of a young Predator being outcast and teaming with humans sounds fresh. I actually enjoyed Prey, so if it’s the same director, it means I have hope in this one too. Elle Fanning will definitely kill her role in the movie.
To be fair, Prey truly surprised me. I didn’t expect that much at that time, but it was so interesting. If this one follow-up as it’s from the same guy, then I’m in. I like the concept of exploring Predator culture.
I will be looking forward to seeing the movie in November. I hope it will be worth my time once the movie is out.
I am not someone who tends to go and watch movies too often at the cinema, due to being burned a few times, but Predator Badlands does look interesting and like something that would be worth watching.
I have been seeing a lot of people praise this movie, so it’s definitely on my list but i want to rewatch the whole predator franchise before watching this.
I honestly didn’t like the beginning of the Predator saga at all, but I did start to like the movies that came out later; they make much more sense. Besides, I empathize with Predator, so I’ll definitely watch this one (I haven’t seen it yet).
