American Horror Story is going big for Season 13, bringing back a huge lineup of characters from across the franchise.
Jessica Lange returns as Constance Langdon, alongside Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Goode, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau, Evan Peters as Tate Langdon and Kai Anderson, and John Carroll Lynch as Twisty the Clown. Other familiar faces including Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman are also returning.
The new season follows Ben DeSoto (Joey Pollari), a hospice worker whose new job introduces him to Constance and a much bigger supernatural mystery. The story also brings Miss Robichaux’s Academy and the Coven back into the picture.
Season 13 will run for 13 half-hour episodes, beginning with three episodes on September 24 before continuing weekly. The season is being positioned as a major crossover celebrating the AHS universe — but despite the significance of Season 13, it has not been confirmed as the show’s final season.
With witches, ghosts, serial killers and some of the franchise’s most iconic characters returning, AHS: 13 is shaping up to be a very familiar nightmare.

I didn’t like some seasons of AHS at all because the horror was too dark and unsettling for my taste, but I loved others because they featured anthology-style horror and that sort of thing; I hope I like this one.
I like how they’re going with a number of the better seasons in this one. Asylum, Freak Show and Hotel were my favorites.
